London 2062 book launch

London 2062

What will London look like in fifty years’ time? In the spring of 2012, Future of London partnered with UCL’s Grand Challenge of Sustainable Cities to explore this question as part of their London 2062 programme. Housing, energy, transport and the economy were discussed and debated by leading academics and practitioners at a series of forward-looking events focused on delivering a sustainable future for our city.

Imagining the Future City: London 2062 is an edited collection based on this programme of work. This book combines contributions from leading academic thinkers at UCL with perspectives of policymakers and practitioners involved in shaping London on the ground. Amongst the contributors are three Future London Leaders alumni – Simon Cavanagh, Hannah Dalgleish, and Michelle Hegarty – who participated in the London 2062 project as part of their programme.

A book launch is being organised by UCL. This launch event is scheduled for Monday, 18th November 2013 at 6pm, and will take place at the university.

Space is limited and registration is required, free-of-charge through Eventbrite.
