28 June placemaking conference

London placemaking conference

Our 2017 placemaking programme is in full swing: we’ve held a debate, roundtable and workshop; several field trips are planned throughout spring and summer; and we’re excited to announce details of our 28 June conference. This full-day event, sponsored by Countryside Properties, LendleasePollard Thomas Edwards, Arup and Regeneris, looks at the value of place and placemaking – as well as how this can be measured more effectively.

Shaking up the conference format, we’re providing more interactive sessions, including two workshops and pecha kucha-style presentations from recent Future London Leaders graduates. We’ll also have traditional sessions on topics including large-scale placemaking, valuing the everyday, management and maintenance of places, lighter/quicker/cheaper initiatives, and emerging methods of valuing place.
