Research & Programme Officer
Amanda joined Future of London in February 2016 and contributes to Future of London’s research projects and overall programme. She has a diverse professional background and most recently worked as an urban designer, which involved developing and overseeing public realm improvement schemes throughout central London. Prior to this, she worked as a transport planner, implementing sustainable travel strategies throughout the Southeast and West Midlands. She also spent five years working in social media in roles that included analysing, executing, and advising on social media strategies.
Amanda has an MSc Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Birmingham and a BA History from the University of Calgary. Her interests include urban design, urban history, and housing in the UK and Canada as well as applications of big data to urban planning.
