Other work

Faye is currently completing a PhD at the UCL Energy Institute. Her broad area of interest is energy use in the built environment. This has shaped the subject of her PhD which uses a qualitative methodology to explore the installation of central heating systems in domestic properties, and how this process may influence the system in use. During the course of the PhD, Faye has been involved in several consultancy projects, including an investigation of fuel poverty in a London borough.

Prior to the PhD, Faye completed a Masters degree in energy demand studies as part of the London-Loughborough Centre for Doctoral Training, and a Masters degree in chemistry with a year in industry at the University of York. Faye is also a member of GoodGym, where she runs and completes physical tasks to help local communities.
