Gemma is researcher and connector who specialises in human-centred design approach to unpicking challenges in cities. Gemma builds a dialogue around a project, place or idea, catalysing a community to accelerate change. She gathers insights through interviews and ethnographies, develops and leads on stakeholder and community engagement. With 9 years experience in the field of urban development and civic innovation, she contributes to qualitative studies, strategy and engagement.
A member of Architecture 00, Associate with Social Life, educator at the Sir John Cass School of Art Architecture and design and a youth Mentor with Reach Out Academy. Architectural trained (RIBA part II), Gemma has a BA in Architecture from Manchester University and postgraduate Diploma in Architecture from London Metropolitan.
